Guard Dog FAST Ballistic Helmet- Sand

First I based my purchase off of video reviews of the product. The purchase included 2 helmets. The shipping was very fast and customer service was great. Upon receiving them I was impressed on the quality for the price. The inner padding is comfortable and fit is good. They are a little heavy compared to pricier competitors. They both came with very nice helmet covers they are a lot nicer than the ones pictured on the website. There are a few things that I noticed that weren’t deal breakers but I didnt like so much. When I pulled one of the helmets from the packaging some loose hardware fell out. It appears to be a nut that is used to hold pieces to the inside of the helmet. I couldnt find anything missing but I didnt want to rip everything out of the inside of the helmet either. Also putting the helmets side by side I noticed that the NV mounts are not mounted in the same position. One is mounted about roughly half an inch higher than the other. Which I guess isn’t a big deal overall. There is also no manufacture date anywhere. Given these are made from kevlar I would assume that they have an expiration date. Lastly it would be nice if they had a care guide such as something that tells what kind of temperature that they are rated for. Not sure how they would hold up if you had them stored in your vehicle for long periods. Overall though for the price they appear to be the best bang for your buck. Especially if you are just starting a kit and are tight on money.
